Late night cravings and soft drink nostalgia

I often get a late night craving to eat something sweet, though sometimes this craving might also be for a Maggie or a Parle-G biscuit but usually it is for something sweet. A hot choc fudge or a Gulab jamun or anything sweet. And at times when i cant find anything i satisfy myself with some sweet Kellogs Chocos and milk.
For me these late night cravings are akin to sex cravings for some. and on most occasions not all i repeat most occasions i would prefer food to sex any day. Today i got this weird craving for Campa cola. Don't know how many of you out there remember Campa but that's was the drink we guys up here in Delhi grew up drinking. It disappeared as soon as coke and Pepsi entered the Indian market. But I have heard you can still find it in odd places like PCI or any govt canteen. Also heard that they are going to get back into production soon and it will be available in open market too. What are your cravings? what brand of soft drink did you drink? In the Summer time...

So finally summer is here big time..and its hot hot hot... temp goes from about 37 degrees at 8 am in the morning when i go to work to 41 degrees at 7 pm in the evening while i am returning, and god only knows what kind of temps are there during the day.
But the only good thing about summer is loads of icecream, mangoes, lassi and oh yeah women with short skirts and hot tank tops and... well the list goes on you get the idea... but for you women folk even men get into shorts and hot T's but don't think that most Indian men would appeal to you with big paunches and all right? What are your favorite things about the summers?

Love, Relationships and cheating... pt -1

On Several occasions when I go out to a mall or a book shop I often find myself ogling at good looking women and with the summers approaching often these already stunning women are wearing stunning dresses with a lot of boobies and legs showing. not that I am a pervert or an old world enthusiast but I would be wrong if I would say that I don't love the view. I do. But sometime also find some women looking and staring at me.. and not all of them look single.. like the other day there was this couple lets say somewhere in early thirties or late twenties visibly married were walking right next to me with their shopping cart in a large grocery store. yes folks i also do groceries once in a while it is fun to fill your cart with all those choc, cereals, coke, Pepsi, chips and what not... So this women turns around to pick something in the aisle and notices me and then every once in a while she has to do that .. soon it becomes a full blown ogling.. not i wonder was it harmless, was it just ogling, was it attraction, was it cheating, was it hormones , was it some hidden chemistry i don't know maybe will never know.. but then is she wrong...? probably her partner does the same all the time and maybe even flirts or sleeps with other women on one of his many supposed travels and off sites.....
Humans by nature are polygamous then why is it wrong to think of that other person.. supposed i know my partner does flirt and sleep with others or maybe our relationship is not working at all and we are there together for the heck of it then is it wrong to fulfill my carnal desires with someone else. what is cheating? well to each person it means different things.. to the one who feels cheated on everything is wrong but for the other person something usually triggers it.. maybe the better looking women, maybe someone who has more time for the other person, better understanding, more money list is endless...it could simple be also something for kicks.. would it be wrong for me to sleep with one of my gf's friends if we were not getting along and a breakup was imminent. Ans: I don't know. sometimes i feel yes it is cheating sometimes I don't. I don't know what my wife or gf is doing behind my back. yes you may call it a break of trust but again how can one be so sure. you only trust someone till it breaks and usually your trust breaks months or years after the deeds have been done and it only breaks if and when you find out.

Humans are a funny lot.. they do everything in hushed tones and behind locked doors and its always the other person who is wrong.. or some one else's husband or wife who is doing this slutty thing which women love gossiping about and men wish they could do the same too.. but the reality is everyone wants to do that other man or women and even when we can we do sometime and some people do and other just dont get the courage.. but is it all wrong..

A late blog post...

And its official Google ads has officially procrastinated me... Reason the think my blog is a porn site.. duh... I did not even make 1 cent out of it.. at least my readers will be happy and not be bothered about the obtrusive ads.. Anyway the deal is that i have changed my job and now I have to travel more or rather a longer distance to get to work but it has its own ups and downs including the high cost of fuel. the chance of ogling at good lookin women driving and often wizzing past you in their swanky big sedans and making me reach late to work. Oh and that reminds me this blog post has rather been overdue for some time and thanks to one of my friends who keeps insisting that i update my blog. this is post is dedicated to her. She is a bit unwell so we hope she recovers soon. I owe a lot of smiles, a few thoughts, sprinkle of blog posts the odd decorative tear to her.

And moving on to a different topic. our very own friendly neighborhood Osama bin laden has been killed by the US force in Pakistan and that may end or begin the third world war but can we trace this to one MR Nostradamus.. hmmm.. i need to get a book on him now.. a trip this weekend to a book shop is guaranteed. only hope i do find a book. BTW India has again won the world cup and I am super happy about it.. eah yeah its old news but kya karen likhna padta hai...ab itne jurno frnds hain kuch to asar hoga hi na...Chalo thats it for today .. i have to do lots of other stuff now. so another blog post tom maybe, possibly who knows....

Just an update...

Ok i know i have not updated my blog for a long time but its been an eventful few months.. lots of work... somethings going wrong... job change and some traveling...

Basically that's been the story of the last few months and I only believe life in the next few months will only get more hectic... but will try to do few things update my blog more regularly, read more books, take a vacation, buy a SLR camera and join some photo classes..

Any of you in Delhi can suggest me a good weekend only course.. pref in central,south Delhi or in Gurgaon.. please do.. also any suggestions on good SLR cameras.. only budget cameras please... under 30-35 k max with lens and kit bag, charger etc...

Maxim is one of the more respected magazine dealing catering to the male clientele rather let me say adult male adult m,ale clientele also catering to teenagers with all that hot looking scantily clad females and the odd article on sex thrown in... Most top actress's have feature on the inside and on the cover pages of this magazine in some real hot looking avatars but of late reportedly the magazine has been using morphed pictures of the not so supposedly hot actresses. Why did they need to do that if it is true? No idea ok ok don't say that then get an idea. I am now sick of Abhishek Bachchan telling me to get Idea mobile connection. But unless the babes are denying it but did it to test the waters and gain some publicity it looks more likely than not that the pics are morphed. Why do i say that. well both babes according to me are more homely, the kinds you will take for your wife and not GF you know what i mean.. besides both are a bit voluptuous and don't have the kind of figure shown there besides the obvious thing being the complexion in real life and those pics.. But having said that i don't mind ogling at those pics only wishing if they were the real things which they are not obviously... Besides if you click and enlarge the pics here you may notice that the supposed Vidya Balan bikini is completely see through which in Indian context is extremely unlikely... even if it were some sleaze ball wannabe starlet it is still highly unlikely. Anyway just click on pictures and to see the enlarged picture to judge for yourself.


PS: I think Maxim should disdain from such practices. The have definitely lost one reader that is me..

Movies, TV and Nostalgia...

I still remember when i was a kid and my parents took me to watch "Nikaah" well they watched and i cried and that was the day and after that they never took me to a cinema hall to watch a movie again... sigh! those good old times of single screen cinemas... the long ques to get tickets to but the tickets in black or go to the cinema stand in a queue to book tickets.. the days of "Sholay" in cinemascope.. the smell of popcorn which was hardly chewable.., instead of coke there used to be Campa Cola and some veg pattys at best.... and if you were watching it in Connaught Place then a trip to Nirulas was the icing on the cake...in case you were anywhere else in South Delhi then a dinner at Def col market beckoned..

And then came the VCR and hey anyone could shell out rs 50 for rental for a Color TV, VCR and one movie for 3 hours and everyone in the house and neighborhood could gather and watch a movie..All night movie marathons were not uncommon in those days. And if you were affluent enough to buy one imported VCR from someone who had recently traveled to Dubai or HongKong then you could rent movies from the neighborhood video library which were mostly pirated from somewhere in Dubai and sold in Palika Bazaar and before you knew time of the cinema was over ... there was cable tv and you were stuck to 24X7 tv... saas bahu serials and the cable waala showing the latest movie one day before it actually released and there were stories in the Sunday newspapers as how the no of cinema halls were going bankrupt and closing down.. famously the archna cinema only one of the 2 cinema halls which showed english movies the other being Chankya. now Archana houses the ndtv offices.  Yes and then we grew up and then there was Priya cinemas and a few years later PVR or Anupam as its now called.. if you were young you had to be seen there. They were the hangout places for all youngsters and if u had not been there then u did not belong in Delhi.

Of course now the times have changed its about star world and  HBO and the big bad malls like Select city walk. sigh.. I miss those days....

Happy New Year

Hey guys, Old gone new is in.. 2010 gone 2011 is in... Lots done and lots left to do.. Loads of Resolutions and Miles to go...life is Short and Loads to do...First of all Happy New Year 2011 to you all... Hope you had fun in the last year especially the Holidays.. I did too but in my own little way back at home.. Have been lazy and busy at times so not a lot of updates happening on my blog but 2 of my new year resolutions are to update my blog atleast twice  a week and take 2 holidays this year one with my friends and one with someone special...

Also on the cards is a new and better shiner job, New car and a new laptop...hoping that someone also gifts me a nice SLR camera and a couple of photography books too...Lets see how many of these i can keep up with... a detailed Geeky Wish list for materialistic things to do coming soon for those who would like to gift any of those...

OK the idea for this one comes from on a twitter comment by someone about "Man Boobs". Which led me to think about boobs in general...

If you are a woman and are well endowed in the front then you would have seen this happen to yourself or to your friend.. Well the say no matter how much recession happens Porn is one industry which will always make money. Porn also reflects the times and tastes of people around.. for example if you have seen the classic Debbie Does Dallas you would see all natural normal males and females but if you see modern porn you find all perfect bodies with big rather huge male and female assets thanks to a lot of surgeries and photoshop etc etc... and that's the way modern people are.. a friend of mine who happens to be a plastic surgeon in Mumbai used to fix accidental cases and would not be bale to make enough money to buy a car but now he does all kind of stuff on men and women (read mainly breasts and butts) and has 2 flats in Mumbai alone leave one each in Delhi and Gurgaon ..he drives a Merc and his wife a BMW so that give you an idea of how much people want it even in India
