Ok. The verdict is out. And very much on the lines of what i expected. Some people believe its biased, some not, and the views will keep coming in the hours and days to come.
Personally i think its a possible solution. Ideally 50-50 would have been best or neither gets it. But since that has not happened this is the next best thing. And i am not surprised by the fact that till this point in time no inflammatory opinions have been come out. Taking cue from Shri Harivansh rai Bachchan make a pub there.
as he says so truly
Cheers.
Lets move on and do something productive and let the bloody politicos and the boards and akharas fight it out.

Ayodhya - the pre verdict show
In about exactly 3 hours from now The Honorable Allahabad high Court will deliver its verdict on the 'Ram janam bhoomi -Babri masjid' case. A case which has been in courts for years(I don't even know since when.) It has been there from at-least earlier than my date of birth i assume.
I can see 3 types of people around me .
1. Worried: Those who think whatever the verdict maybe there is likely to be violence. I call them cautious pessimists.
2. Happy: Those who thing think that this is the beginning of the end. The case may last more years in Supreme court etc etc but at-least something is happening. They also believe that there will be no violence this time. I call them Optimists.
3.Not affected: Those who have their own opinion against everything in this country and always blame the govt and praise how good the world outside is, and are willing to take on shit from "firangs" but will break laws and civic obedience anytime in India. I call them Hippocrates.
By now you would have figured out that i belong to the second kind the Optimists however sometimes i too become a pessimist(thanks to my Indian middle class mentality).
The first kind is planning to leave work early and be home by 3:30. The second is happily working though I would want to be home/near a TV to follow the news.(My work place does not have a TV). The third Kind is already blaming Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Narsimha Rao, Narendra Modi, Advani for everything. You can clearly make out their politcal leanings from who each one is blaming and for what.. ..
Topics range from operation blue star, to 84 riots in Delhi to Ayodhya demolition, Gujrat riots and Bombay riots. For once no one is discussing CWG. There you go people are already forgetting the Ms. Dixit and Mr Kalmadi. They have made their millions. Talk about short term memory.
That's the pic pf mini India for you. Sure this scene would be replaying over and over again indifferent places, settings etc. today and everyday for next few days till a new discussion point comes across.
Will write a new post in the evening on the aftermath.
PS: Old blog and data has been lost. Had to give up my old email id also as it was tied in with the hosting service. so you can write to me on my new email-id: AnnonyingGeek@gmail.com
